Student Council
Student Council is a professional institutional body works under the supervision of Dean Students Welfare. The purpose of the student council is to give students an ample opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out college activities. In addition, to speak for the students and ensure that their opinions are heard. By joining the council, students will be able to contribute to important decisions that affect student community and can organize events, address student concerns, and work with institutional administrators.
Student council is the voice of the student body. It is helping the students by creating various platforms to share student ideas, interests and concerns with society at large.

To promote inclusive learning environments, standing up for the students’ rights, and spearheading successful student welfare initiatives.
Mission of Student Council
- To support community involvement activities and educational empowerment initiatives through the diverse approach.
- To make avail educational opportunities, empower students, and support the needs of students.
- To recognize and value pupils’ talents.
Key Roles of Student Council:
- To foster an atmosphere that supports learning and individual growth.
- To assist the administration, faculties, and management in the growth of the institution by disseminating the council’s viewpoint, recommendations, and feedback.
- To reflect students’ opinions on issues of general interest.
Student Council Constitution:
1. Dissemination of Information:
Student council constitution is purely based on selection process. Nominations for the various post are asked through the official notice.
2. Registration:
Students can register their self through google form in accordance with their interest in designations. This is considered as a formal registration process.
3. Eligibility Criteria:
a) Candidate must be enrolled as full-time student at DYPCOEI.
b) No pending disciplinary actions or academic concerns.
c) No live backlog subject
d) Attendance must be above 75% so far.
4. Nominations:
Students can be nominated for below mentioned designations:
President,Vice-President,General Secretary & Treasurer,Ladies Representative,Asst. Ladies Representative,Technical Secretary,Asst. Technical Secretary,Cultural Secretary,Asst. Cultural Secretary,Sports secretary,Asst. Sports Secretary,NSS & Social Activities Sec.,Asst. Nss & Social Activities Sec.,Magazine/ Media / Marketing Sec.,Asst. Magazine/ Media / Marketing Sec.,Compering Head,Asst. Compering Head,Student Council Coordinator.
Interested students can submit their nomination through google form on or before deadline.
5. Code of Conduct:
a) All participants and student supporters must maintain respect towards decision of selection panel.
b) Negative campaigning or spreading false information strictly prohibited. In such cases, nomination will be withdrawn.
c) Decision of panel will be respectfully accepted by students and administration.
6. Interview Process:
a) Students who have enrolled for different designations can be only eligible to appear for an interview.
b) Selection Panel conducts interview based on the candidate’s academic, personal and professional contributions in the institution and beyond.
c) Candidate can carry College ID and relevant documents during interview.
7. Result:
After successful conduction of interviews and discussion with institutional higher authorities, result will be announced on specified Result Declaration Day.
