Independence Day
Independence day in D.Y Patil College Of Engineering & Innovation is celebrated every year with great pride on 15 August to honor the Constitution of India as it came into force on the same day in the year 1947. The morning of 15 August, 2021 began on a different note in DYPCOEI.
The event started with the flag hoisting by Secretary , Dr. D. Y. Patil Educational Federation, followed by the National Anthem. Student Council Committee of DYPIMED sparked celebrations with dazzling and awesome performances of street play and patriotic bash act captivating the audience. Street Play on “Old Age Home crisis” incidences of elderly couples being forced to sell their houses are very high. Respect & love towards ourelders was the message conveyed by their act. The celebrations reached a culmination 1st year Students patriotic bash (group dance) of girl’s students.
