The management has identified this solar light illumination as one of the most effective solutions that can assist us in curbing the rising environmental problems and energy crisis, especially in the urban areas.
The Solar light illumination at DYPCOEI Campus enhances the security while fulfilling the illumination needs of a space in an efficient and sustainable manner. It is a green alternative to all the lighting solutions with MSEB power.
Solar lighting systems consist of SUNLUX SLSSL-SEMI-15W-12AH STREET LIGHT WITH 40 WATT PV PANEL responsible for converting sunlight into electrical energy. This energy is then stored in the batteries and eventually used by the set of LEDs at night in the campus.

Solar lighting is entirely governed by a renewable energy source, i.e. sunlight. This is one of the biggest benefits associated with solar lighting as it encourages sustainability while saving a substantial amount of Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB) energy. Solar panels typically charge the batteries during the day and the controller powers the LED light using the energy reserve. This process of charging in daylight and illuminating at night repeats every day. Furthermore, the solar lighting solutions also help in reducing the carbon footprint created with the utilization of non-renewable energy.

All these Solar energy LED lights are illuminating the edges of the entire campus.
